Our
goal is to provide our shareholders with high quality locally grown food from
early spring to well into the winter months.
To start and end the season we have constructed a 30’ x 72’
greenhouse.
We will begin the season by
planting a variety of cold hardy vegetables directly into the rich soil of our
farm inside the greenhouse. Then, of
course, we will plant out in the gardens and we will finish the season by
returning inside the greenhouse. By
doing this we anticipate being able to provide our shareholders with about
$20.00 worth of fresh vegetables from about March 15th to January 1st. You can choose to receive all produce or
eggs, soap, canned goods and roasting chickens may also be a part of your share
if you wish. The pick up for your share
will be on Saturdays at the farm from 10am
to 4pm. Or when the Lafayette Farmer’s Market is open
(the end of June to the end of October) you may pick up your share there on
Sundays from 10:30am to 3:30 pm.
Interested? We hope so!
Please sign up at the market booth at the farmer’s market or at the farm
store and we will give you a copy of the CSA agreement to peruse at your
leisure.
Our current rates are $375 for a half share and $700 for a full
share.
Questions? Please ask!
We will be limiting this CSA to 25 shareholders.
Thanks
as always for your support…
